Microsoft Access Introduction

Microsoft Access is a powerful relational database management system used for sorting, organizing and reporting various types of information. Access enables you to manipulate your data in a number of ways in the user-friendly Windows environment. It is an excellent tool for both new and experienced database users. Learn how to set up functional databases, design attractive data-entry forms, and produce meaningful reports.

Delivery Option:

This course is available through in-class and online delivery options.

Online option is available via weekly intake. The registration deadline for the online option is the Wednesday prior to the Monday start date. You will have four months to complete the course.

Course Material:

Fees include the course module.

Online learners will have access to course materials through Desire2Learn(D2L) on the start date. Software is not provided. A minimum version of Microsoft Access 2010 is recommended.

In-class learners will be provided course material on the first day of class. This course is taught in a computer lab.

Recommended:

Microsoft Excel Introduction or equivalent experience.

Student Responsibility:

A USB memory stick is recommended for all computer courses.
