Compensation & Benefits

Topics will include job satisfaction and the link to compensation, pay equity, motivation and incentive plans,compensation policies, collective bargaining, job evaluation systems, setting up payroll applications and using the major payroll functions, and trends in compensation and benefits such as eldercare and wellness programs.

Delivery Option:

This course is available through in-class and online delivery options.

Online option is available via weekly intake. The registration deadline for the online option is the Wednesday prior to the Monday start date. You will have four months to complete the course.

Course Material:

Fees do not include textbook. The textbook can be purchased online at the Bow Valley College Bookstore

Online learners will have access to the course material through Desire2Learn(D2L) on the start date.
