This course covers the theory and practice of effective communication and includes class participation, group discussions, self-evaluation/reflection, and critical thinking as it relates to the communication process. Topics covered will include the psychological factors of communication, dealing with diversity, active/effective listening and feedback, speaking effectively and efficiently, nonverbal communication, and the important role of conflict management.
This course is available through online delivery option.
Online option is available via weekly intake. The registration deadline for the
online option is the Wednesday a week prior to the Monday start date. You will have four months to
complete the course.
