The exploration, production, and transport of oil and gas is integrally tied to land and land access. This is a foundational course that will provide an overview of the land survey in Western Canada and how this information is used. The course addresses important management aspects in assessing the social and economic environment for impacts on the communities. The course will also discuss how to develop an understanding of basic environmental assessment methods and environmental management systems.
