Petroleum Industry - Land and Environmental Management

The exploration, production, and transportation of oil and gas are integrally tied to land and land access. This foundational course provides an overview of land surveying in Western Canada and addresses important management aspects in assessing the social and economic environment for impacts on the communities. Discussions about the development of basic environmental assessment methods and environmental management systems are explored.
