This course will provide an overview of key supply chain concepts, strategies and methods including scheduling, logistics, transportation, operations management, procurement strategies, competitive bidding, negotiation, and contract management. Case studies in the Canadian petroleum industry will be used to show how supply chain management can benefit established and entrepreneurial local, regional, and national businesses through contracting opportunities and joint-ventures.
