Procurement Process Fundamentals

The procurement process is complex and requires continuous improvement in both the efficiency and effectiveness within the procuring cycle. Learners will gain an understanding of the key objectives and responsibilities of the purchasing function, the various types of purchases, approaches to improving the procure to pay process, contract and purchase order preparation, the different types of purchasing policies and procedures, and internal and external integration of varied groups for a competitive advantage.

Delivery Option:

This course is available through in-class and online delivery options.

Online option is available via weekly intake. The registration deadline for the online option is any Wednesday. The course will start the Monday following the completion of your registration. To start on a different date please call 403-410-1400.You will have four months to complete the course.
