LAN Switching and Wireless

Gain deeper understanding of switching configurations and troubleshooting methods and explore troubleshooting concepts common to Layers 1, 2,3, and 7.  Learn to interpret network diagrams and configure, verify, and troubleshoot VLANs, interVLAN routing, VTP, trunking on Cisco switches and RSTP operation.

The learning materials fee includes online resources, a digital textbook and a virtual lab environment for practice and self-study.  You will require a computer with a modern web-browser (Chrome, Firefox, IE8+) and internet connectivity for the home-study and practice portion of this course.
 
The successful completion of TECH9203 LAN Switching and Wireless and TECH9204 Accessing the WAN prepares you to write the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam, available at the Bow Valley College Testing Centre. With a grade of 75% or higher on your Cisco exam, you qualify for a 50% - 60% discount on your next Cisco exam.
